Ahem. So this guy I used to go to church with a few years ago came to “hang out”. He does that periodically. This time his excuse was the passing of my father. (Wait I haven’t even told y’all about that, have I?) Anyway, I wouldn’t call it dating. However it is obvious that he is interested in me and this time he upped the ante by a centimeter. Yada yada yada and at one point in the conversation he says that people had sad something to him and he wanted to share it with me. His point was that if you want to be in a relationship or whatever that you should fix yourself up and dress in a way that would attract the perspective mates. lol.
Now this is where the title starts to make sense. My blue jeans and tshirt should have told him that I wasn’t interested in attracting him. Now let me be clear that I like my jeans and tshirts. Also a girl… a lady should have to strip it down, poke it out, and paint it to attract viable men. They say that men are stimulated by visuals. I’m cool with that. However vision is a bit more important to me so I want a man that sees what he doesn’t see. Ya dig. So, I will not be slutting it up for NO BODY (until, of course, he gives me a ring signs some papers and put me in a house) then it’s like WHATEVZ. lol Back to my point. If he was looking at me and didn’t like what he was seeing per my apparel choices he should have realized, “This chick ain’t what I want.” Or maybe my smile was just to dang pretty. Still, my clothing should have said, “Guy. Not you. Not right now.” I mean, since he has this pearl of wisdom about how women should dress. I know how to be cute. I do it when I take myself out. I do it when there is a worthy cause or person. The jeans and old loose T was just especially for him that night. lol.
